The brain needs at least twenty minutes to realize that a person is full and don’t need to eat anymore. These twenty minutes are very crucial. If you had eaten junk foods, you would have consumed a lot of calories before your brain could realize that enough was enough. This is because junk foods usually lack in fiber content.
In contrast, fiber rich low calorie foods will fill up your stomach quicker with the least amount of foods possible. Even if you eat a little more than needed during this twenty-minute window, you won’t be gaining weight because your overall calorie intake would still be low.
There are many different types of low calorie diet programs. Some would try to restrict your calorie intake by making you eat like a baby, but that is not a healthy weight loss method. If you follow a fiber rich low calorie diet you’ll experience great weight loss.
